The next several months are going to be busy with work, but I still have photos you haven’t seen yet.
The anhinga is maybe my favorite Florida bird. It’s just so unusual, the way it can fly and swim.
I visited Lake Placid (there is a town and a lake by that name!) for the first time recently and took pics with the telephoto lens.
A limpkin was nearby, fishing in the shallows.
This is a common sight when driving backroads. The cattle egrets hang out with the bulls and cows because they scare up insects while munching grass.
There’s been a lot of morning fog the last few weeks. Sometimes that offers opportunity for wonderful photos. I took this one at the lake.
See you next time.
