Why am I playing with pics so much lately? No work.
The person who was sending me jobs decided to quit that part of her business (have I said this before? If so, sorry). Most authors have already chosen their editors, and picking up new clients on my own is difficult.
So I play with pictures of people I like for one reason or another. You already know about my Yuzu thing. Not gonna apologize for that. He’s admirable on many levels.
The story I wrote to go with this picture is printed on the wallpaper. Turns out Japan has a folk tale about a half human, half cat creature (similar to Korea’s gumiho, which is half human, half fox). It was fun. I spent a few hours on this and don’t regret it.
A couple of posts ago, I talked about Gigapixel and enlarging an online photo I liked of Park Seo-Joon. Between then and now, I made him into wallpaper. A friend of mine says he has “phoenix eyes.” All I know is he’s beautiful.
I’ve also been reading a lot, taking walks, taking pictures… but I haven’t gotten anything really good lately because I’m unable to travel far from home. Gas is too expensive to waste on photography, especially when no work is coming in.
This is how a lot of us live now. We buy as little food as possible, don’t drive, and make due with what we have.
Why does it feel like I’m in a goddamn war?
