Clouds are where it’s at! š They add interest to a photo. The new Luminar 4 photo processing program lets you easily replace skies. That’s how important “good” skies are.
I’ll start with photos that had skies replaced. The original skies were boring, boring, boring, which means they had no clouds. š
Lake Clay, early morning. Please note the clouds reflected in the water. š When you do composites, details have to be perfect.
Not only was the sky replaced in this pic, but a texture was overlaid to add interest.
The rest of the skies are natural. š I remember this morning. It was cloudy, and I was checking out a new place on Lake Placid. The mosquitoes and gnats were horrible, but the trail through the woods was interesting. This was the view from shore. The light was subtle and stupendous. The sky looks huge!
Sunset during a really windy day. Look at those waves! I love the color on them.Ā
See you next time.
Interesting work Theo, I really appreciate the way your photos mix the clouds with the water š all the best and greetings from Portugal, PedroL
