Jim Nix posted a video on photo twirls, and I was bored enough to try it. 🙂 No work right now, and I need a break from reading and TV, so I tried it.
Took this pic of a snapping turtle at the local park. I was twenty or thirty feet away from him. Telephoto lenses rock!Â
Then I turned him into a twirl in Photoshop, with additional color adjustments in Luminar. Pretty, isn’t it?
Did the same thing with this cardinal.
I recently processed a photo I took when I lived in St. Paul. It was nice remembering that city. Funny thing is, I grew up in Minneapolis, then moved to Wisconsin for decades before returning and moving into St. Paul, a city I was totally unfamiliar with. Didn’t take me long to realize it was a wonderful place with lots to recommend it. Being on the Mississippi didn’t hurt. Rivertowns always resonate with me.

See you next time.
FABULOUS. Great work ups. Love
Thanks! It’s a lot of fun, and it’s caught on big in the Skylum photography group.

🙂 It’s cool, isn’t it? And every photo produces a different effect.
