Jan 16: Great White Egret and Great Blue

I’ve had multiple chances to shoot them lately. Always elegant, always beautiful. This one was enjoying the sunset. Just standing there, gazing at the dying light.

This one was hanging out at Lake Istokpoga.

The bare branches behind this egret almost look like cobwebs. Cool effect!

Hunting in the reeds.

Great blue at Windy Point Park.

Also at Windy Point, but at a different pond. I shot this from pretty far away and through a break in trees. I’m really impressed with the 70-350mm lens.

See you next time.
