This last week, I’ve been going back and forth between my condo and R’s house, mostly because I’ve forgotten something at one place or the other, and dragging the laptop along with me.
I’m wrapping up the final edits on No Man’s Land at last! I only have to write the blurb, format the MS, take another look at the cover, and upload, so expect to see a release this weekend!
It’s been a while, eh? But I love this story, and I think you will too. It’s a strange combination of paranormal/fantasy/science fiction; I honestly can’t describe it any better than that.
After that, Blue River gets a new cover and will be re-released soon.
Then it’s back to work on the new WIP. I’m already four thousand words in and can’t wait to get back to it.
While I’m doing all of that, I’m also editing manuscripts for others.
R is up north to sell his WI house. The closing is tomorrow, after which he will likely return almost immediately to Florida. When you have two giant dogs, it’s hard to find a place that will take them for even a couple days. He says he’s glad he won’t have to make that long drive anymore. From now on, if he wants to visit friends and family, he plans to fly. The dogs will have to be kenneled, because I don’t like dealing with them long-term. They aren’t mean or dangerous, but they don’t listen well and they can be pushy. You know what it feels like when a large dog swings its bony head into the back of your knees and takes you down? Yeah, like that.
Have a terrific weekend. Next Friday, I’ll have more pics. I just have to find the time to process them. 😉
I’m so excited about NML coming soon. It’s such an imaginative story! 🙂
🙂 Thanks. I like the direction it took and how it ended.
I don’t envy you writing then blurb – I find that harder than writing the novel 😉
Agree!
..but I am good at typos like ‘then’ instead of ‘the’ … 😀
🙂 I sent it off to my betas for suggestions. I never know how much to say. What part of the plot do I reveal in order to entice readers? Got me!
Yay for NML! Have a great weekend!
Thanks. You too.
