Formerly published as The Blue Paradise, this title received a total rework after I got the rights back from the publisher. New cover (which I love!) and added scenes, plus a complete re-edit. It’s my feeling this a far better book than it was.
Don’t get me wrong: it was a pretty good tale in its first iteration, but I’m a better writer and editor now, and I think it really comes together in this version. Hope you agree!
I debated whether or not to upload it to the various vendors available to me through D2D, but in the end, decided against it. Page Foundry, Oyster, B&N, etc. simply don’t sell enough copies of my books to make it worth it. I’m sticking with my two favorite vendors. Between them, you can get any format you require.
Blurb: Benched for a minor knee injury, pro baseball player Devin Carter recuperates on beautiful Islamorada in the Keys, where he meets Jim Dellwood, half-owner of a run-down resort. The attraction is immediate, the chemistry is good, but it’s not love yet. They agree to stay in touch but keep things casual.
Back in Sarasota, Devin hooks up with another player for no-strings sex but quickly realizes Jorge Rodriguez, newest teammate for the Suns, has a different view of their relationship. With things heating up between him and Jim, Devin tries to break it off, but Jorge won’t take no for an answer.
Set in Florida, the sun-drenched land of eternal summer, and played out against the backdrop of high-stakes baseball, this tale of love and obsession will keep you awake long into the night.

It’s an amazing book, Theo, and the cover is drool-worthy. Still want a t-shirt…
🙂
Well, you know what I think about the book and those thoughts can be found far and wide on the interwebs, so all I’ll say here is, thank you for yet another wonderful book 🙂 And that cover is nothing short of fabulous.
🙂
I thoroughly enjoyed the first version and hope I’ll find time to read the new one as well.
Let me know what you think. 🙂
WooHOOO!
🙂
Congratulations! The cover is wonderful.
It was a lot of fun, putting it together. 🙂
Congratulations – and I love that blurb. Well done 🙂
Thanks. That means a lot because I hate writing blurbs. It’s like torture. Heh.
For some reason I find it harder to write the blurb than the entire novel…
