Six Sentence Sunday

Inspired by Elin Gregory, who always posts wonderful sentences, I decide to post six of my own. This is from The Lightning Struck Tower,  the last book in the Precog in Peril trilogy. Gray is talking to Jolly Roger, who’s slightly homophobic.

We stared at each other while I fought the urge to punch him. Since finding out he’d betrayed Cooper and me, I had that feeling a lot.

I stalked down the stairs to the first floor, hearing him following behind me. “I trusted you.”

“You gonna let a little thing like that come between us? Would it help if I sprayed myself with glitter?”
