Fall Photos, Take 2

Back with more photos, but before we go on, note I have a new page on the site: Crass Commercialism. Take a minute to read it, okay? Thanks.

And now, the photos…

This was taken a week ago. It was the light that caught my eye.Β

In the next three pictures, I’m back in the gazebo. In this first one, I’m on the bridge leading to it. I saw the back- and top-lit leaves and had to capture it.

My feet kicked up on the lower railing, I placed my almost empty beer on the top railing and grabbed a shot. πŸ™‚ Sun is behind the trees on the right. One of my uncle’s cats walked that top railing all the way around, but the sucker simply would not pose for me. I will have to try again.

Taken from the gazebo, camera pointed toward the forest floor below. Again, light from the west illuminates the scene. The camera tried to tell me there wasn’t enough light. I see plenty, don’t you?

  1. Try putting milk in the beer bottle, maybe kitty will pose for you then!

More stunning photos. I knew Theo Fenraven was a professional editor (check his page) but I didn’t realize he also offers photographic services, like photo restoration. And these latest pictures are gorgeous.

The camera is dumb. As long as you understand your sensor’s latitude, you know better than the camera whether there is enough light.
