Country Travels

Drove over to Wisconsin yesterday with the camera. Gorgeous, perfect day. Some sun, warm, nice breeze.

I wasn’t the only one enjoying the fine weather.

It’s still winter here, by the calendar, but the robins are back and there is no snow. Everyone’s waiting for the trees to bud (about a month early) and grass to turn green.

I traveled the Great River Road for a bit, then cut across country to visit the relatives. We ate dinner on the back deck and chatted before I returned home.

A very nice day indeed. Today, overcast and sporadic sun. I picked up some wine at the liquor store and the clerk said he heard downtown St Paul was full of drunks already. Woohoo! Let the St Patty’s Day party continue!
